Vintage design furniture

Doorstep delivery in The Netherlands & Belgium within 5 - 14 days.
Doorstep delivery in the Netherlands is free. For our neighbors in Belgium we have a fixed fee of €95. We strive to deliver your order within 5 - 14 days, usually you will receive your order the next week. Our transport partner will contact you to make an appointment and most of the time they'll provide tracking link.

Doorstep delivery is standard. This means that the item is brought to the front of your building and in most cases you'll have to give the driver a hand.
If you need extra service, like in-home delivery and floors up, please let us know beforehand.

European shipping 2 - 4 weeks
We provide professional doorstep delivery voor vintage items in the EU. The costs depend on the location and size of the item, please get in touch for an exact quote (hello@fussypeople.eu). We strive to deliver your order through a delivery partner within 2 - 4 weeks. Please note that international deliveries may take us more time, especially in busy periods and might take up to 6 weeks.
If have your own shipper/transport partner, please choose 'DIY shipping'.

International shipping outside of Europe
We can ship vintage pieces worldwide using air or ocean freight, which may take 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the chosen option.
Please note that packing international deliveries costs us extra time and a packing fee may apply.
Contact us for an exact quote at hello@fussypeople.eu before placing your order. After accepting the quote, go ahead and place the order and select 'pay for shipping afterwards' in the check out. The agreed upon shipping costs will then be added to your order to pay for separately.
If have your own shipper/transport partner, please choose 'DIY shipping'.

UK residents
We can arrange shipping to the UK, but please be aware that you'll be paying 20% import TAX over the grand total (product price + shipping costs).

Storage fee
Unfortunately we are not able to store your purchase for more than 4 weeks without charging a weekly storage fee.

Contemporary furniture

For each item we have shipping and production time information available on their product page. Our contemporary furniture will be shipped by a transport partner (UPS, DHL, FedExx).

Please note that most of our contemporary items are produced sustainably on a made-to-order basis and our partners keep small stocks to prevent overproduction.

This means that a production time of 1-6 weeks average might be applicable at the time of placing your order. In every product description you'll find a shipping and production time estimate.

Unfortunately we can't link external stock to our store in real time. If you'd like to know if an item is in stock before ordering, send us a message and we'll double check the producers stock for you.

After placing your order, we won't be able to tell you when exactly your order is out of production and ready for shipping. You will receive an email with the tracking link as soon as your order is on it's way to you. We kindly ask you for your patience and support for this sustainable way of furniture production.

Other items

Home decor, bedding, (small) lighting accessoires, apparel and other small items will be shipped by postal service. Delivery time per product may vary, please check the shipping information on the product page of the item.

Returns

How do I make a return?

You can always return an online purchase within 14 days after the delivery. 
How to return an item: please report your return by email as quickly as possible. After our confirmation you have 14 days to return the item. 

For vintage items: You can arrange transport yourself, or have us arrange the pick up for you. Depending on your location and size of the item pick up costs of vintage pieces are between €40 - €80. We will deduct the pick up costs from the refund. The shipping costs and responsibility for damages of returns are for the customer.

For contemporary items: Send your item back by postal service with a tracking link or return your item personally at our studio in Amsterdam Oost. The product has to be in their original packaging. The shipping costs and responsibility for damages of returns are for the customer.

Refunds are made through the webshop system, you will receive a confirmation email (always check your SPAM) and the deposit can take up 1-5 business days.

What are the payment options?

We offer the following direct online payment options: 
- iDeal and Bancontact
- Creditcard (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Union Pay)
- Klarna 
- Pay by Invoice: you'll receive an invoice with our details to be able to make a bank transfer (due within 48 hours)

For all credit cards and Klarna we charge a fee. We also find this very unfortunate but we hope you'll understand that as a small business, we are not able to take on the 3% and at the same time offer flexible payment options.

You can also select the option 'pay by invoice' to pay manually by banktransfer through your own bank. You will receive an invoice with payment details (please note that the invoice is due within 2 days).

What are the rental options?

Our design pieces are for rent on a daily or weekly base, discover our rental options.
Our space is available for pop-up events.

Vintage pieces: reservations + storage

We can reserve a vintage piece for 24 hours.

We will store your vintage purchase for free 2 weeks after placing the order, for storing a purchase longer than 2 weeks a fee of €25 per week applies.

Is it possible to visit the studio?

Since we've moved from our showroom in Rotterdam to our studio/office in Amsterdam, we no longer keep our collection in one place and are mostly active as an online store. If we have the item you are looking for in our studio, it's possible to make a viewing appointment. Unfortunately it's not possible to visit the storage.

VAT %

Please note that our vintage items are 'margin goods' and therefore the charged VAT is 0%.

Contemporary furniture, accessoires and apparel are charged with the Dutch VAT percentage of 21% .
