VINTAGE J39 CHAIRS BY BORGE MOGENSEN FOR FDB MOBLER, 1947
Description
Set of four J39 chairs, also knows as 'the peoples chair', with oak frames and seagrass seats. Designed by Borge Mogensen in the late 1940s, this set is produced in the 60s. Two of the chairs still have the FDB Mobler label underneath.
The J39 is still in production and costs around €600 per chair. The common price for a vintage set of four J39 chairs is over €2000. Due to a missing connection between the back legs of one of the chairs and the variety of wood colors, this set is very fair priced. There's a fifth chair, that can be added to the set.

Vintage shipping
Doorstep delivery is our standard. This means that the item is brought to the front of your building and in most cases you'll have to give the driver a hand. If you need extra service, like in-home delivery and floors up, please let us know beforehand.

Doorstep delivery in the Netherlands is free. For our neighbors in Belgium we have a fixed fee of €95. We strive to deliver your order within 5 - 14 days, usually you will receive your order the next week. We or our transport partner will contact you to make an appointment and most of the time they'll provide tracking link.
European shipping
We provide professional doorstep delivery voor vintage items in the EU. The costs depend on the location and size of the item, please get in touch for an exact quote (hello@fussypeople.eu). We strive to deliver your order through a delivery partner within 2 - 4 weeks. Small or easily disassembled furniture can be shipped by a parcel service.

International shipping
We can ship vintage pieces worldwide using air or ocean freight, which may take 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the chosen option. The costs depend on the location and size of the item, please get in touch for an exact quote (hello@fussypeople.eu).
Please note that packing international deliveries can cost us a lot of extra time and a packing fee may apply.

UK residents
We can arrange shipping to the UK, but please be aware that you'll be paying 20% import TAX over the grand total (product price + shipping costs).
Storage fee
Unfortunately we are not able to store your purchase for more than 4 weeks without charging a weekly storage fee.
